I swear I haven't forgotten about this.

Really.
Well. Bah. I've had WoW, remember?
Unfortunately... I've run out of subscription for the time being, so I uninstalled it last night and got Ragnarok Online back. It's not as good, but... It gives me my fix. xD

School's been dumb again.

BUT. On the knitting front, I'm... halfway through with my Gryff scarf.
Uhm.. Yeah, I thought (read: hoped) I'd be farther than
that.
But here's a picture of it. :)

So, I got my fermata shirt in the mail, along with my hobbit sneakers. I'm so happy. C:

I went to Sarah's house, and the next morning we went to TJ Maxx and got matching dresses. They're both Free People, so they're pretty, and they were on clearance--fifteen dollars! Mine is red and hers is blue, and they're halter style with tiny floral print. It's too low, though, so I have to wear something underneath it which I don't yet have. Bah. I got a new scarf, too. Pretty brown and orange tie-dye.

There really hasn't been much else. I'm knitting lots of little hearts for Valentine's (the mochimochiland.com pattern).

Oh, we got out of school for the flu and weather. I don't have to go back until Tuesday! Hooray! Jesse is coming home this weekend, and hopefully we're all going to hang out one day. I can't wait.

I'm done. C:

So, I'm not dead yet.

Not that close, either. Things are going well.

I borrowed Emerson: The Mind On Fire from Mr. Walker. I lovelovelove it... but then again, I love anything to do with R. W. Emerson. :) I think I'll write about him for my research paper. This book should help a lot, as it has over 600 pages.

I've discovered a LYS in Murfreesboro! I thought there wasn't one. I'm so happy. And there's the yarn store in Nashville, too, which is... around fifteen minutes away. Hooray.
On the knitting subject, I've just finished my sixth set of stripes on the Gryff scarf. Hopefully Maria (my grandmother by marriage--she is AMAZING) is going to take me shopping, and I'd like to go to one of the aforementioned LYS's (Blue Sky Alpacas, anyone?).

Oh, and I have World of Warcraft again.
[insert mass-crowd-gasp here]
It's not for long, though. Just until February 2nd. :( I'll miss you, WoW.

So, if I want to keep the goodness from school going, I have to go do AP History homework. D:
Ohnoes.

Why this is more of a blog than a knitblog.

For the past few days (since school has started), I've been unexpectedly and inexplicably happy. It is so weird. Not that I'm an unhappy person; I'm just a hella-stressed out person. I think I'm losing my mind from being so stressed out, and it's the "I-don't-really-care-anymore-and-I-couldn't-if-I-tried" thing happening. We'll see if I'm still like this when I get my grades. I'm basically rooted to the spot about it. Ohnoes.

Even though I've been kind of mindless, I've been sick. Sort of. Since Wednesday night I can't sleep for the life of me. But whatever, hopefully it'll pass soon enough. I hate being sick, and it's happening all the time now because of stress. It's really annoying, though, because I never get sick. Bah.

So, my classes are going as follows:

1st block= A. P. US History
2nd block= Pre-Cal (I would have Honors, but my schedule wouldn't allow it, dammit.)
3rd block= Band...
4th block= Honors English III
Let's just say I MISS FOURTH BLOCK HISTORY. We had fourteen people in there. First block has thirty-four. It makes me want to scream. I still love Mr. Avery's class, though. :)
Pre-Cal is as easy as can be. My teacher has no personality, though. It's weird. She's reviewing Algebra 1 in there, and that's something I took three years ago. Ionno. (My mom had her for chemistry in high school; how weird is that!?)
Band is band. Lovelovelove. Except Mom won't take my flute to the shop, so I have to borrow my friend's. Gah. She will eventually...

English is okay right now, but I'm just afraid it'll get crazy. We can't start the huge, enormous research papers until the library opens back up (it's closed because they're putting new tile down)... but I'm kind of glad of that. I'm just not used to having homework from more than one class. I hate this... >__<;; So that's it for school.

TODAY, I got my new Delia's pants in the mail. :D
They're supposed to be skinny jeans, but they aren't really. But that's okay, I'm terribly short as it is, so I don't need to look any shorter (and they're brown! :D). The shoes I ordered won't even ship until the 22nd. :(
They fit nice, even though they're looser on me than on that random model chick on the site. I might try not to be lazy for once and get pictures of me up. But probably not. I've got a shirt on the way. I'm so excited. I'll put it up here once I get it, and maybe a picture of me.

Oh, and I got to see Jesse today. :D
We hung out with Chris, Cody, and eventually Sammi. For most of the night I was outnumbered and drowning in testosterone. It made me rethink moving in with Jesse. Haha... It was okay fun, I suppose. We didn't really do much, like always. I just really hope I can sleep tonight--this mystery sickness of mine is keeping me awake. D:

I'll go ahead and give you a knitting update--all that I have to say is that I'm kitting my Gryffindor scarf like a madwoman. I can't figure out why... but I just got infected with finish-itis, I suppose. But that's okay, it works out fine. I can't wait to finish it; I'll wear it everywhere, even if it is huge. Hopefully I'll have enough progress to take pictures of. I've only got five sets of double-bars. :/ But I"M GETTING THERE. It will be finished. :)

Some things that have been floating around my computer screen.

And my mind, for that matter.

Check this out:

Your fairy is called Thorn Rainbowfrost
She is a fortune bringer.
She lives in brambles and blackberry bushes.
She is only seen during the first snow of winter.
She wears purple and green like berries and leaves. She has multicoloured wings like a butterfly.

How amazing is that? :)
I found it on *fiber faeries* (ravelry group).

But, on another note...
School starts back again tomorrow. I am so not ready.
I have to read Bless Me, Ultima.
I have to finish Death of a Salesman (maybe an hour?).
Gah. I am so screwed. I can feel the school-related panic coming back.
Ohgodohgodohgod.

Wait...
When will I have time to knit!?
The horror. D:
I think I really am gonna die. It doesn't help that I only have ONE project going right now.
Well, technically two. And I'm gonna start another one soon. Blah. I need yarn for one, and needles for the other. I wish I had money. And a car.
For those of you who don't know, my mom refuses to teach me to drive. She made me get my permit, and now she won't teach me. She says she will after we move, but I doubt it. She won't let anyone else teach me, either.
Oh, dear. No yarn options. What am I to do?

Oh, and I should probably be reading, but I'm not. I'm such a procrastinator, and I wish I weren't.
Or maybe it's that I'm a slight procrastinator with a really short attention span. I know the latter is true...
IT'S NOT FAIR.

And with school coming back, I don't know how much time I'll have to update this, either... But I know I'll be online quite a bit for my research paper I'll have to do for my English III class. I'm petrified at the thought of it.

I'll get to that reading. Maybe.

Only a few double-bars so far.

Knitting makes New Year's Eve less boring.

I'm a my aunt's. Blah. I'm not feeling well today.

I know for a fact that this will end up being well past my knees. -___-;;
Being short as I am... Well.
I still have to knit Chris that hat. xD

I'm terrified of going back to school, though. I won't have any time to knit, much less blog. Ohnoez.
Somebody save me.

First times are always awkward.

Hi.
Just so you know, I'll be using this as mostly a knitblog.
I may rant a bit.
Whatev.

See you.
